I'd like to know some oppinions about this cam JVC GY-HD100U 1/3-Inch 3-CCD Professional HDV
Generally most people seem happy with it, but some have complained about issues with the color varying across the frame, and I believe it only records 30fps to tape rather than 60fps.
I worked with a canon xl2, that cam jvc is better than the canon? I don't know if the canon xl2 record 30fps or 60fps

Depends on what you're doing. In general it's a better camera, but true 720p HD footage is 50fps or 60fps, not 25fps or 30fps.
I have owned and used several of the JVC pro cameras. The DV500, the DV5000 and the HD100U. I have also used the Canon, Sony and Panasonic cameras.
I like the HD100U best. In a side by side comparison using the stock lens, the JVC blew away the XL2. Canon doesn't use true progressive frame recording - it uses its own "frame mode" which shows a lot of digital artifacts when you start manipulating the footage in post - color correction, efx.
However, both are fine cameras and in the hands of an skilled, experienced DP and gaffer, you can get great footage with both.

When I shooted with the canon xl2, in the post production when i did some slow motion images, the image was like if it there's a lack of one frame, it splits... today i still don't know if the problem was with the camera or with the computer.
Thank you
