I am an international student. I will write a essay for my film class about how to make a film. I regard to remake the "Walk two moons." I don't know too much information about writer, actor and editor in America. May anyone give me some advice? If you want to make "Walk two moons", you will pick whom be the main actors. Which role?why, and who will be your rewriter and editor, DP?

For example, I need to hire some cast and crew. I need some real name for my paper. It is like a main actor who is a girl about 12 years old, named **.I choose her because she is very famous in America. Most teenages like her. She had performance * role in *** movie, and so on.The same as the rewriter and editor.

I need some real person's name.

Thanks guys

Walk Two Moons does not show up in imdb. Does it have another title, perhaps an English language title?

Welcome to Filmmaking.net, ernv110.

I'm interested in know what actors YOU would pick. And what director, writer, DP and editor YOU would choose.

Let's see if I understood this correctly (it seems there's a language barrier here). You assignment is to write a paper about making a film based on the book "Walk Two Moons", or a re-make of an (apparently) existing movie (although nobody seems to have seen that movie, nor is there any record of it in IMDB). As I understand it, in your paper, you are expected to propose the cast and crew for this movie, and it should include some well-known American actors, as well as a well-known director, DP, etc.

If this is correct, I doubt you'd find much help on this forum. The primary purpose of this forum is for actual (or aspiring) filmmakers to exchange ideas related to actual filmmaking. Your question won't help you or anyone else with making a film.

And as CI said, in order for this paper to be really yours, YOU would need to make these cast & crew choices, and not us.

I agree with Vasic, it seems you have been given an assignment to
research American actors, directors and editors.

This seems like a great opportunity to build your research skills and
learn more about American movies. You can check IMDb and Box
Office Mojo for popular actors and directors. You can look at Oscar
and Golden Globe winners and nominees to find award winning
directors, actors and editors. Look at Access Hollywood and
Popculturemadness.com for names of popular people.

You should have a lot of fun doing this kind of research.
