how would I do the 360 spin like that and make it come out smooth as they did? Any suggestions?
You can rent one or rent a dolly and track.

If you can't afford that you can use a wheelchair as a dolly.

In the commercial they also used a professional lens with a
shallow depth of field. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depth_of_field
You can simulate that with your video camera by placing the camera
far away from the subject and zooming in. When you do that and
combine the distance and focal length with a wheelchair dolly you are
going to face a great challenge getting a smooth shot. That's why
professional use expensive equipment and skilled camera people.
But with a lot of work and ingenuity, you should be able to get pretty
close to the same shot.

There are links in the upper left of the youtube page. one goes to production pictures and it looks as if they used a steadycam.

I didn't even noticed those links. Very impressive StediCam
work. It must have taken a number of takes on that terrain
even with the plywood platforms.
