Hi all, newbie here, just trying to get started on my first little film with a friend of mine.
We keep messing about with the concept and it's holding us up! We are storyboarding on the fly with dv, just filming rough scenes to see if we like it. As a result of this I have plenty of time to mess about with all the stuff like lighting and angles etc.
So my issue is the lighting. The filming is being done inside a house, which is pretty small. So small I am just managing to get shots with the wide angle. When we change rooms the lighting changes, in one room the blue walls really make it obvious.
Any suggestions as to what I can use to help? It will need to be something that doesn't take up much room. I suppose I could edit a rig out afterward, but I really want to use as few editing effects as possible.

I'm a little confused by your post. But this seems
to be a while balance issue. If you're using the
cameras automatic white balance the room with
a blue wall is going to look very different from a
room with a while wall.
So set up your lights and use the manual white
balance. When you move into the next room set
up your lights and use the manual white balance.

I am very much a beginner with that sort of thing. I have tried using my ceiling lights but I get streaks. This is going to be filmed in the day though, so maybe the white balance will help that out. I will test it at the weekend. Thanks for the advice. Fingers crossed.
