ok.. so someone on here told me that i need to get editing software for my computer.

what would be the best one for me to get?
How much money do you have? I use Avid Xpress Pro, but there are much cheaper programs around that do just as well with less bells and whistles (Avid's full price is about $1600, AFAIR).
Premiere is pretty decent and you can probably find cheap copies of old versions on Ebay and the like. Below that I've heard some good things about Pinnacle Studio, but I've never been impressed by Pinnacle's programming skills myself.
Discreet Smoke. I kid. Premiere should do the job just fine. You could always install linux and try your luck at cinelerra. That looks promising although I've never tried it. It's free, anyway.
