Not really the right forum but since there isn't a right forum on the site, I'd better post it here :).

Just thought I'd mention that I'm moving to Canada in two weeks, I've left my job so I have time to pack everything up and do all the nonsense that I have to get done before I leave, so I'm not going on the Internet much until mid-August. Hopefully the other moderators will be around in that time to deal with any problems!

Congrats for you! I hope you like Canada. My dad did some backpacking up there, and loved it. So are you moving there for a job opportunity, or for the change of scene, or what?
P.S. Personally I would have put this under networking and general discussion, but I agree that there isn't really any perfect place.

My girlfriend is Canadian and she's been bugging me to move out there ever since she went home :).

I didn't even realise there was a 'General Discussion' forum these days, someone must have sneaked it in while I wasn't looking :).

Hey I live in Canada and it's great, lots of open space unless you live in the middle of a big city.

Lots of nature thats the best part.

Hope you have fun.

It took me a while to find it too. But I guess faster than most people :). Have fun wearing fur coats, eating ham and calling it bacon, and drinking beer like no one else. I know someone who went drinking with a canadian once. They said he was complaining all day of having a headache, and when they went out to drink, he drank everyone of them into the ground and didn't even seem to notice. While he was complaining about a headache, he drank straight liquor.

Hey! Welcome to North America!

When the script writing is done, the work has just begun. When the filming is done, the work has just begun. When post-production is done, the work has just begun. When the distribution is done, you decide if the work is done.

BTW, I'm here now, but only have a 56k modem and phone line for the next few weeks, so won't be around much!

Welcome to Canada! And we only call it bacon if it is in bacon form lol. And if you wear a fur coat, you're probably going to get some disgusted looks from a lot of people.
