Hi everyone. I hope someone can help me out there. I wish to find out if there is a film scene capturing software out there that I can buy or download. I wish to do a project by using Windows Movie Maker. I want to make a project that uses clips from films from past and present. Can anyone help me? I would be eternally grateful...

Windows Movie Maker is a video capturing program as well. But I recomend a different editing program.

Pinnacle Studios 10 Plus-$100

Vegas Studios-$300

Avid Liquid-$650

Adobe Premiere-$800

Avid Xpress Pro

When the script writing is done, the work has just begun. When the filming is done, the work has just begun. When post-production is done, the work has just begun. When the distribution is done, you decide if the work is done.

You can do it in movie maker. Just turn the movie/clips you wish to capture into compatible files (avi,mpeg..etc) and import them into collections in windows movie maker.
