Hi, i got a question about creating a movie trailer for your own movie, but say you add something in the end as a joke. It's a small little bit intended as a joke, but the idea's and character's that are in that small little bit in the end are taken from a video game. Is that ok? Or is that a no no, if i don't own the rights?

if this is your own movie and only u and some of your friends are going to view it then it should be ok. but if this is a serious film that you plan on showing other people and possibly submit to a festival or something the dont use copyrighted material.
