I've got none. Any ideas how to force it or at least try?
That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough! I'm going to clown college!

In terms of general motivation, doing work for charity really helps you to get some perspective in life. If you're some rich kid sitting at home on his pc then it could really help.
If you mean motivation or inspiration for making films, find someone, anyone, sit down, and bounce ideas off each other for an hour.

You're looking for motiviation to do what specifically. Write? Work on budgets and scheduling? How to motivate actors or get yourself out there calling up people trying to get money. Each might have a different motivation.

i need help getting money? lol. what kind of help and motivation can you guys give to that?
I might be 18, but watch out, everyone has to start somewhere. I'm just starting a bit faster and bigger. 🙂

try door to door. Seriously! It sounds like a narrow path, but it really isnt that bad. Me and my friend, dressed decent, and went door to door to several hundred houses and basically asked for donations of a dollar to help fund our new movie. So far we've gotten about $700 bucks. Of course, alot of people said no, but it's a numbers game.

Is this the only question you know how to ask, or are you just an egocentric moron? Why am I guessing the second?
Motivation to write. I have an idea, but cannot seem to get off my ass to write it. Its slightly killing me a bit.
And addressing the community service thing, I currently have to do it required and its giving me nothing. Thats why I couldn't believe someone actually suggested it.
Plus all my bank accounts are currently a black void. I've had to pay a couple of fines.
Ugh.

Ah the age old question of getting things done. Well it comes down to holding yourself accountable for getting things done. Spending time on the right activites instead of wasting time checking your email, reading yesterday's news, looking in the refrigerator or cupboard for something to eat...all to waste time from doing what you should be doing.
If you cannot hold yourself accountable then you have to get others involved. Oh yeah. First set the daily accomplishment...the outcome. Let's say you have to write 5 pages a day. Yes each day. Don't set weekly outcomes because then you can screw off all week and on the last day try to get it all done. That's crap! Daily outcomes. You must bring some urgency to it. If you don't do it then you need to feel the pain. Find a friend and give them $20. If you don't write 5 pages they get the money. Is that painful enough? How about $100. Find something that will be painful to you and use that if you can't motivate yourself. It might not be money.
Is it painful enough knowing that thousands of other writers are getting things done and you are not? They are passing you on the way to success. Just write. Set aside a time frame every day and you cannot do anything else during that time. Do not answer the phone. Do not check your email. Do not click on filmmkaing.net or any other site. If the house catches on fire keep writing. No excuses! Either you are making progress or making excuses.
It is often best for creative people to link up with business people. Find yourself a producer-type dying to get into film. Hopefully that person will have ideas on how to get funding and could provide the level of hand-holding and presentations investors would want.

I'm curently shooting my first movie. I can tell you at the beginning I did not had everything in mind , I just had the idea. I didnt have a script and I was thinking over and over again how to start. Now I think the best way is to jump into the deep. Just start writing anything. Then you can make it into something. I aslo talked to friends who were very supportive. If you say you have no motivation think about why you wanna make a movie. Why you wanna tell the story. Why? What are you trying to say? Why is this important????
