Basically I'm posting this to see what the "people" think. If anyone who reads this please reply. I've been asked to film a music video for a local talent in my city. An agreement was made, "Help me Help you" Now I don't have any experience with making music videos but the formula isn't far off from shorts. A couple jump cuts, fade in and outs, and some basic transitions. Now if any of you out there were in my shoes, and if payment for services came up, how much would "you" charge?
NOTE: keep in mind, I'm no professional, I haven't even been to film school.
Thanks for your input.?:D?

I was in your shoes once. No film school, no previous music video experience, not a professional and a few short films under my belt.
I didn't charge the local band anything. If fact, I didn't get paid until my sixth music video. The first five were my learning curve.
And looking back on my first two I'm amazed the band didn't come after me with chainsaws. I discovered there is a lot more to making a music video than a couple jump cuts, fade in and outs, and some basic transitions. And it took me a few to get this kind of production under control.
I gotta say, it wasn't until my ninth or tenth that I started making really good ones.
