I would like to buy a new video camera because my current camera has an internal microphone. Whenever I zoom in or out, you can hear it and the sound of the camera running is also captured, plus the video quality is not very high.
I would love to buy something like a Canon mini dv digital camcorder, but at over 2,000 dollars, I'll never be able to afford it. I make 60 dollars a week and that's only 'till the end of the summer, so I'll never have that much. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for decent cameras under 500 dollars. I don't know how nice of a camera I can get with this much, but I hope that someone can help.

In the $1,000 and under range all cameras are pretty much the same. A Sony is like a Sharp is like
a Canon is like a Panasonic is like Samsung. You can go to any Best Buy and pick up a camera in
that price range and you won?t be able to tell the difference. And I don't know of a camera in your
price range that has an mic input for an external mic.
