Hi i am a college student currently studying A-level film studies and three other A-levels and have applied and paid my deposit to go on the one month Film making certificate at the London Film Academy. www.londonfilmacademy.com. I just wondered if anyone on the forums had been their for either the one month course or the years course and what did you think of it. Is it worth the money and was what you did/learnt of good value to a person like me who wants to make films in the future. Thanks.
Hi, I'm from Mexico and I was also planning to join the one month certificate at the LFA...I'd like to persue a career in film, and I'm actually thinking of dropping college to do so...my question is the same, is there anyone who can tell what was it like at the LFA? thank you!

I wouldn't drop college to do ANY single month course, anyone's chances of a career in film are slim to none so be sensible and have some backup qualifications. A single month course is good for your confidence and very basic knowledge, it's unlikely to get you a job up against a graduate with 3-4 years of study, or worse yet anyone with professional experience. Finish college, make some short films with buddies and a camcorder while you do it, by the time you're finished you'll have learnt the most important things a short course could teach you anyway.

I'm gonna try to change of course to something more related to the film insurty this time, that is why I wanted to take the one month certification...cya later! thnx for the feedback!
