Does anyone have any ideas on how I could get a business to let me use their building to film in? I need to use an office-type building for my movie and I dont have any friends who own one. Any help regarding setting up a time, convincing them to let me use their premises or anything else pertaining to the subject would be GREATLY APPRECIATED

The only way I know is to ask.
You set up a time by calling and asking when a good time would be for them to talk to you.
You convince them by being prepared and professional.
You keep many options open and don't stop after the first few no's or even the first 40 no's.

Find someone (actor, friend, relative, etc.) who works for a small businesses. Small businesses tend to be a little more lenient when it comes to stuff like that (small businesses don't have corporate overlords; large businesses are afraid that someone above them might disapprove).
If you're doing a lot of shooting in the office, offer to screen the movie in their conference room one evening. Bring pizza and soft drinks.
If that fails, look into renting some cubicle walls. Depending on how extensive the scene is, you can probably fake it with a few cubicle sections and a little imagination.
(or it would be hillarious to shoot it in the furniture section of an office supply store; especially with the fake computers)
