Hello All,
My name is Sean Kachmarski: I love movies, talking about movies, analysing movies and making movies.
I am new to this forum as I am now wanting to branch out, expand my knowledge base and experience.
I have a silly weekly family show on YouTube (77 episodes) that I am trying to hone my skills.
I am an amateur filmmaker and like the challenge of making my show and future projects only using an iPad, apps and iMovies on my iPad ONLY.
My goal is to do a proper full length documentary, but need to learn the ropes first.
For my next project I am interested in writing, producing and editing a short film using only the above.
I was wondering if there were any amateur short film contests I can have a look at that only have limited equipment use and budget.
Any guidance would be appreciated
Thanks for your time
Sean Kachmarski

I don't know of any festivals that specify using limited equipment as a
criteria for entry. I do know that there are dozens of festivals that accept
really good documentaries regardless of the equipment or budget.
