Right now I'm kind of in a bind. I going to a community college right now and plan to attend a film school after I finish here. The school I'm attending does not have a film program so I'm majoring in theatre ,sense I've been doing theatre for so long, just until i get done with community college. The problem is that there's an internship with a film company that I have been looking at. Would it be possible for me to take the internship and continue to do theatre?
Just so you know I do have video experience. I have self taught myself in Video editing, directing, writing, and filming sense i was 12. I was the video editor at a summer camp for the end of session videos and also the video editor for my high schools video announcements. I have made many shorts and a few documentaries.

Speak to your college counsellor and the internship supervisor, then make your decision. That internship may help you get into film school, or it may not, but your best bet is to get into film school.
