I want to go to film school. I have a bachelor's degree - in another field - but while doing some research on film schools, some schools recommend that students engage in some sort of film/tv background before enrolling.

What kind of experience or classes can I take before I decide to apply to film school? The only insight of film/tv was one class in college and it was a scriptwriting class. Loved itl.

Anyways, I've heard of like 6-week or 8-week classes. What do they have to offer? What are they all about? Are they worth it?
