Hello,
would it be a good/bad idea to post my screenplay in my web page for anyone to read?
thanks
I would at least register the script with the WGA (?url? http://www.wga.org/?/url?) first. It costs $20 for non members ($10 for members in good standing) and is well worth the money to protect your hard work.
You can never be too safe on things like this. I mean you can put it there and just hope/ assume it is safe, but you never know who's reading it. You could get it registered just to be safe. $20 isn't a lot when you consider the effort you put in.
without question copyright it

It would be a bad idea. Registering it will help, but it's never a good idea to show your script to anyone that other than those you absolutely must.

thanks to all
I do have the script register with the WGA. But at this time I'll take Ben's advise.
Thanks again.
