I truly a newbie when it comes to making films however, it is my dream to make a documentary that will help in certain social issues that I grew up around. I need a little advice on interviewing miscellanous people (girls ages 10-21) about they're lives and the people that surround them as well as they're environment. I am sure that I'm going to need parent's signatures for the children but what i am wondering about is the lawyer that I'm going to have to get. I just wonder if I need a lawyer throughout the whole time I'm filming or just to write up some releases? How does that work? I would really appreciate some feedback if possible... thanks
