Hey hows it going guys(and girls) ok listen to this...
Im a student, iv got 29 (28 if u read this tommorow) days to make a 7-10 min short film for film studies.
Storyline - A girl decideds to kill her father, its basically the girl walking to her fathers house and then flashbacks ('real time' is in colour, past black n white)
now i was hopeing to do this to the soundtrack of the Velvet underground's 'Heroin' n mix it in
iv never ever filmed before but the shots that i have taken with my home made steady cam (tripod with weights on the bottom) have worked quite well and iv took some artistic shots. n very urban feel in the present part.
any ideas on shots/films i should watch (that are widely avalible) to get some good shots of people walking etc.
The film teacher/directors club guy says i seem to have a natural eye for shots so i suppose thats quite good and i am quite obsessive over it.
So any ideas on storyline, shots etc would be a ggreat great great great help.
PLEASE REPLY....sooon ill be up all night im determined for it to work.
thanx
G
you should watch Man Bites Dog.
Never heared of it, whats it about?
well you see its this film where i man is walking his dog in the park, but he gets hungry, so...
whats yours about? i mean, why does the girl want to kill her father?
GOOD question im thinkin abut calling it 'no real point,' her father is basically one of those 'i dont really care about my kids' dad. he lets her down was going to add molesting her but i dont think the father would do that.
its basically about lonelyness but with the father idea thrown in to give it abit more weight. ill post more later i gtg.
