i just finished my first spec script and want to know what to do now! i would like to direct this film but don't know how to go about getting funding... do i contact prod companies directly or simply go through an agent.
any help would be wonderful! thanks!

can u independently produce this film?
before contacting agents or production company's, can you do it on a small scale budget/on your own? if not can you get a friend, your mom,dad, sister..anyone that can help you....can you get them to pitch in and they can be your producer?
if not, try to get an agent.
