I've never thought about joining transpo as a
way in, Brian. You make excellent points.

Very few no budget, non union show use drivers
so that's kind of out. Isn't it difficult to break into
399 (the Teamsters local for those outside of LA)
as a driver?

My advice is to send your show reel to as many different production companies as posible in the hope that some one appreciates your work. In which case I would advice you to continue making your own productions.
