I'm making my first movie and I need actors but I don't know how to get some.
Do you have local theater/performance groups? Schools? Friends? These are but a few of the resources you can tap to locate talent.

I put an add into Backstage magazine and was flooded with headshots. My add said it would be unpaid and all that but folks were still willing to work for the experience and credit. Google Backstage magazine.

Indeed, actors are everywhere and many are willing to work for free on any decent movie. The problem will be finding actors who can act :).
