I'm a newbie here.. I'm based in the UK..!
I'm do acting and writing..
I'm also working on a movie project..
It's a romantic comedy set in London..
There are scenes in this project that needs to be shot in New York..
I know this sounds a bit weird but I was wondering..
where's the best place or area in NY for a diner scene..?
Plus a residential surrounding..?
Any ideas would be apprieciated!

Not necessarily: depending on what you need, if your budget is low, you may be able to get away with London. For example, one movie I edited a while back was shot in an American-style diner in London, and it didn't cost them much to do so.
