Hi ? all,I?m new here and please forgive me for my englsih, i?m from germany?:I?. I?m 21 years old and love the showbusiness. If i get my visa, i want to move to L.A and start my filmmaking career?:)?.

My question is, do i have a chance to get an internship in the Filmstudios like Universal, Warner.... . I ?m willing to work my ass of and make coffe, for free, and i have no problem to work more than 12 Hours???. Is it hard to make a career behind the camera, i mean like an actor? I really do love movies and make them, if i get a choice i want to be a director or screenwriter.

i hope you guy?s can understand me?:)?

Welcome to filmmaking.net!

Yes. It's hard to get an internship at the studios. There are tens of thousands of people from all over the world who love the show business and are willing to work their ass off for little or no money for long hours. You are in direct competition with each of them.

The good news is, every day people here in L.A. are getting internships and jobs and making movies. It's going to be hard - really hard - but if they can do it, so can you.
