hi, i'm a high school student looking for a great filmmaking course to attend this summer, and i really need help deciding which school to go to! i've researched New York Film Academy, but i'd really like to know if there are other better programs out there! i'm thinking about going to a 4 week program. so if you have any advice...please email me!

New York Film Academy is total BS. They put all of their money into advertising and aren't really as accredited as they seem.

One of the best programs is The Workshops (The International Film and Television Workshops in Rockport, Maine) check out the website, www.theworkshops.com

I've heard nothing but praise from Camp Bravo. It's set in San Bernardino, CA. I think my drama teacher said that his friends created it awhile back. (I was paying attention to the video they showed us, maaan, do they have some kewl equipment.)

I haven't been there myself but it looks fun. 🙂

its been said a lot because its true "buy a bunch of books, get a dv cam to practice with and use the film school money to make a movie with." or go to the LA Film school if you really feel you need to.
