Hello, can anyone give me tips on making animated films? I'v treid using the technique where you make a new image for each frame but it's driving me nuts, is there a program that's easier to animate?

Well, if your when you mean animated something like Toy Story, you'll need a program like 3D Max, which is rather expensive, and probably not within most people budgets.
If you are reffering to something like a cartoon, then I'm afraid I'm not terribly sure on what you'd need to use, but maybe you could use something like Flash, and create whatever you want to create in that, then export it to whatever file format that you are looking for (Avi, Mpeg etc).

What type of animation are you talking about? If you mean cell animation then yes thats all you can do. You dont have to do them at 24fps though.

Oh, ok thankyou. I meant just cartoon, trouble is to get it to look like a cartoon and not a flash =P. I think I might be able to get my hands on 3d studio max actually, thankyou.
