Hello

I have been shooting time-lapse footage on a Digital SLR camera and would like to sell it on to local TV broadcasters who have been asking for this type of stuff. I have been putting the images together in Photoshop and After Effects.

I would like to know what format I should be using and what the requirements would be for the finished product. My local broadcasters need as much HDTV as they can as they have to broadcast a certain amount by law in Australia. But all this talk about 1080i, 1080p, SDTV, DV is just going over my head.

Any help would be appreciated.

With a DSLR you should have plenty of resolution to output to HD. You might try calling up one of the stations and ask for help, I'm sure they'd be able to guide you through the process of outputting HD from AfterEffects without much trouble. Or, you may even be able to send them the raw image files and let them worry about getting it in the proper format.
