Very much doubt it. What format are you shooting?

80 will be enough for your operating system, applications, and music files. You really should buy an external harddrive for your movie files though (200 or 300 just to be sure).

What is the average price for a 300 GB external hardrive? I have seen a few of them but I havn't looked at the price.

When the script writing is done, the work has just begun. When the filming is done, the work has just begun. When post-production is done, the work has just begun. When the distribution is done, you decide if the work is done.

Check http://www.google.com Type in "external hard drive" and you'll get several dozen different prices of several dozen different manufacturers. I really like Neptune - I have 10 of them.

Uncompressed 4:2:2 HD - 1920x1080/24fps - 445GB per hour

Uncompressed 4:4:4 HD - 1920x1080/24fps - 667GB per hour

I will assume you are using compressed (MPEG-2) HDV then you're looking at 13GB per hour, if your edit system captures using an "intermediary codec", you could be looking at up to 40GB per hour. So a 1.5 hours is going to be 60GB

If you're getting an external hard drive, be sure to get one that supports FireWire rather than (or in addition to) USB 2.0, especially if you'll be capturing in HD. USB can't handle the bit rate required for video capture.
