This question is posed to all filmmakers on this forum. My partner, John Kim and I are emerging literary managers at www.cinematic-instinct.com based in LA. We're expanding our small co.to include matching filmmakers and investors at a revamped website in 2009. We love writer/directors and targeting this combination first. It's tough to get films made let alone distribution. And the current economic climate going forward doesn't help either. We will be the first to use Crowdsourcing to find the most commercial film projects from talented filmmakers. Studio producers will attach themselves to the best projects and distributor(s) will distribute funded films. Using a business model similar to raisecapital.com and the novelty of Project Greenlight our aim is to see fewer, better films.
We'd like to get the collective wisdom of members here at filmmaking.net. We can be reached directly at info?cinematic-instinct.com
My other company www.titledoctors.com names major motion pictures for the studios.
Best,
Seth
Good luck, Seth.
I hope this works.
