I don't think they make different editing programs for specific movie genres.

Do you have a Mac or PC?

I suggest Final Cut for Mac, and Sony Vegas for PC. There are many others but these are the ones that are in the top.

Welcome to filmmaking.net, demonangelz666.

Henry asked the most important question. Editing programs don't
care what genre you're working in - they care what computer you
are using.

Yer any editing program is made for all genre. You need to say if you are using a PC or Mac as these have different programs. Cleary is right just check out the free trials to see which you like. The best are proberly Adobe premiere or sony vegas pro but if your a beginner then these are maybe too expensive. I would recommend sony vegas movie studio as this is very good and only about ?35/$70. Anyway just search and try out some trials:

Sony Vegas

Adobe Premiere

Ulead VideoStudio

CyberLink PowerDirector

also:

Avid Media composer

Apple - final cut pro (Mac only)
Apple - final cut express (Mac only) - more basic (cheaper) version of final cut pro

Pinnacle studios - (windows only)

alot of these products will have a expenisve pro version and a cheaper option with less features but still very capable.
