For my new film I was wanting to get a strange greeny hue to it, rather like the Matrix films have. I'm filming on MiniDV so does anybody know how I could achieve this or what programs I would need?

You could either use a filter, although probably not on your camera... So i would do it all in the editing. Use adobe premiere and u can add wateva hue u want to it. I am using a yellow/greenish one at the moment.

YOu can set the color balance on your camera to hugh over to green. Color balance is generally set to white, but if you use a different color you can skew things in any direction you want. Of course this can't be undone so easily in post so be sure you test things a bit and make sure you like the output before commiting.

You sure you can do that on a canon 730?

Hmm, I doubt it.

I didn't notice you specify the type of camera until after I suggested an option. I know nothing about the Canon 730.
