well, i've been wanting to pursue making good, quality films for some time and i guess i just never got around to getting serious about it. now, i am serious, but i have no idea what to do. obviously, i need a camera for and loads of other equipment for starters and i could probably go on ebay, browsing for movie maker packages, and spend quite a bit of money, yet have no idea if half of the stuff is relevant to making movies. so i guess i am just asking if someone could kindly point me in the right direction.
thanks. it is much appreciated.

Take a couple of weeks short course on movie making, it will give you the starting point. You will have an idea about everything when you come out of the course.

So far so good

Hey, i just attended a great Film camp at The Workshops in Maine (USA) it was amazing. There are courses for beginners as well as professionals. Check it out at www.rockportcollege.edu. or search for The Workshops on Google. -dean
