As the says, I am working from a dream (but aren't we all?). Being obsessed with Lord of the Rings for much of my life (not just the movies), it has grown limbs and walked through my brain like an Ent. To me movies are a art more beautiful than any painting. Watching a film make my heart swell and twist itself into little knots! But, I like most, am on a VERY small budget, I have no video camera, nada. What is the best beginning step for a person in my boots? And can you give me the 411 on film school and the best place to go? (BTW, I am in Arkansuck, so nothing for a good few states around here).

Well everything starts from a dream. As Walt Disney says "If you can dream it, you can do it".
The best way to go about is to join a short course at a film school in your state itself, no matter how small it is. It will give you a starting point and also help you interact with people of your interest.
