i have written a script and i would like to film it in the UK. I have done some shorts as well. My dream would be to direct this as a first feature film. How do I do it?. How can I get the production houses to be interested in my scrip and to give me a chance to direct my first feature?.

I would suggest you make a trailer for it. Get peoples attention. The more people look at it the more they will want to view the full film. Even is you make it yourself, the more people look at it the more attention you get, you never know, one of those people might be an owner of a huge production company.
The best thing to do is get your work out there!

Thanks for writing me back. I want the trailer to be english since the film will be in that language. But the problm is that finding english actors in paris is near impossible. How do you think I should go about it?.

Well how about, using very, very clever editing and have no speach. I think the best directors can portray their message not only through speech but through images.

If you need English speaking actors maybe put an ad on Craigslist (Paris) in the filmmaking section ?url? http://paris.craigslist.org/tfr/?/url?. That should increase your network.
