Finding a script (I'm new to all this)

Ok, so I am new to this whole business. I have no prior film making experience, but I would very much like to make a movie. I have a read a few article about getting started and it seems like a big challenge, but one I think I could handle with the right people on my cast and crew. Any film I make would have to be ultra low budget with no up front pay for cast and crew.

Now, from what I have read, the first step is to have a script in hand. The problem is that I don't have one and my few attempts at writing a script ended pretty quickly because I can't help but judge my work as I am writing it, which leads to me thinking it's a dumb idea. So my question is, is there somewhere I can go to find people with scripts looking for someone to collaborate with to get it produced into a movie?

Sorry for taking so long to ask a fairly simple question, but thanks for any responses.

hey man i'm down for some collaborating, lets do some talking, and figure out what youd like to make...Ive been writing for about 2 years now, but i still consider myself a minor to it all. But maybe I can put a script together (no charge, unless it makes money, which we all hope) and you can make something out of it. EMAIL ME AT hoxiebehm?yahoo.com if your interested.

it actually pretty normal to doubt yourself whilst writing. you really cant let it bother you, a lot of your films will be bad (i know a lot of mine are) but once in a while you will hit gold, (as i know, there are some of my films i generally like). it has come to my attention that artists need to shut up about their work, we all nitpick at the little things we know are wrong that no-one would even notice if we didn't open our stupid mouths. i do it in my films, my band, and my writing, but Ive learned im really not as bad as i think i am. and neither are you.
