I'm a buisness/marketing major, who's looking to get a minor in film/cinema from University of Utah... I love to write, and I'm looking into writting screenplays. I have Final Draft, I was wondering if the program is any good, or should I find some other software?

I've used Cinergy Script Editor, Movie Magic Screenwriter, and Final Draft. Final Draft is by far the best formating software I've used.

I don't know how it compares to the competition, but Final Draft is pretty good. In fact, FD6 is so good I can't see any real reason to upgrade to later versions: they've kind of coded themselves into a corner :).

Hey Andy, how is the University of Utah's film program. I'm thinking about going there after I graduate high school this spring.

Alder.

I really don't know yet. Right now I am at Snow College, a junior college in centeral Utah, working on an Assosiates of Science Degree. I will transfer to the UofU next fall. I've read up on the film devision though, it looks mediocre compaired to other schools, but you've got to start somewhere.

Here's a good link to look at: http://www.film.utah.edu/
