Hi everyone! ?8D?
I'm new here and I hope my topic's not out of place.

I live in Italy and was thinking about applying to the New York Film Academy.

Anyone know about this school or has friends who previously attended it?

Do you know about any other good film schools in NY?

Thanks a lot! Cheers ?8D?

Welcome to filmmaking.net! Your topic is in the right place.

Right here on the filmmaking.net main page is an excellent
Film School data base. You can very quickly narrow you search
to NY. There you will find the names and links to many film
schools in NY.

Check the comments about NYFA on it's page right here on
filmmaking.net. It seems people really like it.

Hi certified instigator!

I checked out the film school data base, it's really well done!?8D?
I read the comments on the NYFA, and was wondering if there was any way of contacting by mail or instant messaging or on this board the former students, so as to be able to ask them more info i.e. how they managed with the housing, details about bureaucratic stuff etc.

Is that possible? It would be very helpful!

To send the person a email just click on there profile name and then on 'send message' or something like that. You will then be able to email them.

Another great site that might give more school specific info is www.studentfilms.com You should be able to talk directly to NY film school students.
