Certainly I've heard of programs where people working in the movie industry have students with them on set for experience, but I'm not sure how you get into those kind of things.

Unless you have bags of dough, I would start out as an intern and work your way up the spectrum. Its less exspensive and sure it takes a little longer, but you will be a well rounded individual for having spent the extra time.
