I've been using Studio 7 on my computer for over a year now, but it doesn't have many extra features and runs sluggishly with any project longer than ten minutes.
If there's any other really good software thats moderately inexpensive, please inform me.
A good place to start would be the FAQ, particularly the question "What's the best editing software?"

Get Avid Xpress DV
Or get Adobe Premiere (I use Premiere 6.0)

I don't like it myself due to the ugly interface and a number of bugs, but some people have been raving about Pinnacle's Edition software lately too. No idea how expensive it is to buy, but I got my copy for about $50 as part of an upgrade deal for Pro-One card owners they did some time back.
Certainly it seems to be better at fancy realtime 3D effects than any other PC software I've used, if you're into that kind of thing.
