I'm looking at buying a Sony HVR-A1U or a Canon GL2 online and found that a site called expresscamera.com has prices that are $600+ cheaper than other sites, and they seem to good to be true. They have testimonials and stuff, and warranties, but I don't want to order a Canon GL2 and get a "Canan" GL2, if you know what I mean.
Has anyone bought anything from them? Are they reliable?

Are you sure you mean expresscamera.com and not expresscameras.com? expresscamera.com just seems to be a search site, whereas expresscameras.com exists seems to be a camera store.
Yeah...that's it. With an S.

Never used them, but they have a rating of 0.97/10 on resellerratings.com: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1805.html
that's not so good. Do you have any suggestions of where to buy?

Unfortunately, with cameras it's usually the case that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
That seems like a good camera to me. What'ya think?

I've never used it. However:
Panasonic is a trusted camera maker
it has 3 CCD's
it has manual controls
it has a mic input
It looks like a fine camera. I really like shoulder mount cameras so that's a plus in my opinion. Is a "PAL" camera what you're looking for?

DO NOT buy from expresscameras.com, they are a "grey market" dealer and sony will NOT honor warranties, rebates, or special offers with products from that site!
go to www.camcorderinfo.com, they have a list of authorized and non-authorized dealers, the thread on non-authorized dealers is full of horror stories and expresscameras is specifically mentioned in that thread.
you can't go wrong with B&H.
