While I have read many of the reviews of Eicar (mostly mixed) I wanted to know if anyone has attended Lumiere film school in Paris. Can anyone here give me some insight on how the schools compare? I am likely moving to france in the coming year and I am looking to get some further education in film. I attended the California Institute of the Arts for my BFA in acting. I took a few film courses while there but didn't start making film seriously till I was out of school. I am now older and looking to gain further education in film.

I have to move to paris for my fiancees new job so I thought it could be a good time to obtain my masters and make some short films. Alas, I know I could do this without going to school but I'm one of those people that actually likes education and higher learning. I went to Cal Arts so I have the FULL understanding of how education is what you make it!

Your thoughts on Eicar vs. Lumiere or any other paris based film schools are much appreciated! Ideally I'd like to hear from recent graduates as I know schools can go through major transformations in less than a year... Cal Arts is a great example of that! Lastly, if there are any filmmakers in paris that would like to connect when I move there I am open to working on your productions! I own a 5D mark iii and have some grip as well.
