i just mucked around on the really basic 'Windows Movie Maker' and done my recent overseas home video. When completed every time i had titles come up on the screen the music skipped or crossed over wrong. Is this due to a shitty program (windows movie maker)? because i am about to get 'Adobe Premiere' so im hoping to get better quality out of that(obviously). But i just wanted to know if thats the problem?

I've never used Movie Maker, but you can do some pretty impressive stuff on Premiere. Certainly one guy I know used to edit documentaries for his local TV station on Premiere before he switched to Avid some time ago.
