What is the best turnkey editing system for $3000 or less and where can you get it. Mac G5 or any PC prefferably w/ final cut pro or premire video collection? thanks

I use Premiere and Avid on PCs, but if I was looking for a prebuilt system I'd go for a Mac with FCP... haven't used FCP myself, but the people I know who've switched to it seem happy.
