This is selling a DVD set called - How To Make A Hollywood Caliber Movie On A Budget Of Next To Nothing. Priced at $119
Any reviews? Is it worth it?

i would say without even looking that it isnt worth it. $119??? use that money to buy a good mic. its just another get rich scheme. YOu will find hundreds of other books and dvds on this (most are much cheaper) and they will all say the same things. Dont bother. Make movies and when you encounter a problem come on a board and post your question. Its free help. Don't waste yoru time. It would be like buy a dvd that tells you how to paint a world class picture if you dont know how to paint...its pointless.
"Anyone who has ever been privileged to direct a film also knows that, although it can be like trying to write 'War and Peace' in a bumper car in an amusement park, when you finally get it right, there are not many joys in life that can equal the feeling." - Stanley Kubrick

Troma's Lloyd Kauffman has a similar DVD series for $30 and so far its more or less the same thing as he wrote in his book for less. Sometimes it helps to hear and see things, sometimes it doesn't. Either way $100 is more than I'd pay.

I keep meaning to buy those DVDs: I think I make a brief appearance somewhere throwing paper at Lloyd (I know he shot it, not sure whether he used it).
