I've been reading some online tutorials and have run into some problems. First, when I go into project settings I can select the 23.976 frames per second and change my field option to blend. My question is does it do this to the video I import automatically? When I go to output it I run into problems, say if I select the NTSC DV Widescreen preset it puts the frams back up to 29 and I can't change it, the option is greyed out. I like the smaller size of the DV preset and I don't want the huge files that uncompressed creates.

Any suggestions on this particular question or tips on getting DV to look more like film.

Thanks,
Joe-Mamma

It turns out that only Vegas 5 and up has the pull down feature. Problem solved.
