Hello again 😀
Just need some recommendations. I shot a night scene during the day hoping later I could find an inexpensive editing software where I could manipulate the day for night, but still don't know which one to buy. Which software do you recommend for Day for night technique.

Thanks

Peace

Which camera did you use since you shot a night scene during day time?

Most software for around $50 would do this effect. I think as you are planning to buy a new software you should not just be looking for this particualr effect but overall satisfaction with the software. Before you buy download a free trial. I would reccomend sony vegas, there are 4 standards ranging from basic to pro. But even the basic is good and it has the night effect you are after too

Yes, I have downloaded a free trial from sony vegas, since I was curious about the Platinum 9.0 version, I decide to download that one as well. But I can't seem to figure out how to trim my events on this version I already did all of the tutorials but still have no clue. I take them to the trimmer and that's it, I can't go any further. Hope someone helps me.

Peace

I dont really understand what you are asking. I have never really used the trimmer before i just drag my clips onto the timeline and edit them there. What are you trying to do to the clip.

also back to the original day for night, if you are having trouble with vegas or dont like the day for night effect you could always try to film it at night and use lighting. Or if that is too hard just lower the exposure on the camera to make it look like night.

Sorry for the long reply!!
