what are the rules about using illegal drugs and underage drinking on camera for a prject based around a stereotypical first year in college? Where would i find something that lays the rules for content on film?

as long as they aren't actually doing the drugs and drinking the alochol then you should be fine. You would use fake drugs and fake beer and such. If you do that then you should be fine. but if this is a school project then your gonna need to ask your professor.

Ice tea and water look amzingly like hard booze when put in the correct bottle. Cigarette smoking man smoked cloves on X-Files and nobody noticed. Faking is easy.
