Just started buying some used comic books at this local used book store. I'm trying to think up a cool superhero for a story/script I could use in the future... Think this is a good idea?

Could be. Superheroes certainly are the go in Hollywood at the moment. (Batman, Spiderman, X-Men, Daredevil) Try to think of a really orignal character and start writing. Good luck.
