CCD has made it possible to make extremely high quality (comparitivly speaking) for a extremely low cost AKA Video. Many short and low budget films now use video as their recording medium, mainly because of the low cost and ease of use. Wearas many low butdget films in the past would have been spending alot of their mony on film processing that mony is now avalible to go directally towards the artistic side of the film.
