I love how theatrical that scam has gotten.
lets take the story of the email, make a movie based off of it, make millions, then laugh at teh spamers face

You mean it's a scam, I took all the money I'd raised for my movie and donated it... Damn, just like that deposed dictator I tried to help. ?:D?
Anyway, I think we found the answer to the posters who keep asking how to raise money and motivate themselves and all. They could certainly craft a better email than the typical scammer.

theres a book dont know if its out where they reply to the emails saying we are the hopping book on head group.
They get the scammers to do something stupied and tell them to send a picture then they will send the money but you don't.
This books ment to be full of funny pictures from these scammers (funny there all dark skinned).

Most scammers tend to be Nigerian. Nigeria has oil so nobody is willing to put diplomatic pressure and screw up oil prices because they have a bunch of idiot citizens.

Even so, it's the first time I've seen scam emails sent through this site.

The brilliance of these emails is they ask you to do something unscruplous. Helping a dictator steel money from his ex-country, that sort of thing. Since an illegal or immoral task is asked the bonus should be great and the willingness to the tell the cops pretty low.
Problem is the scammers are blanketting everyone instead of targetting their scams. I'm amazed the whole thing hasn't died out because everyone with money has to know it's a scam by now. How could you be so stupid and still have money to lose?

Exactly: at a minimum these scams would normally violate money laundering laws if they were true, so the victims are reluctant to go to the police even if they'd be willing to admit they're that stupid.
The reason they keep sending them is that they can send millions of scam mails for very little money, so if even 0.01% of people are dumb enough to send them some they'll make a big profit.
